Ooh!! I think this guy is cute!! I saw him in the show "Huan Zhu Ge Ge" aka My Fair Princess! He played the 5th prince, and after watching that show, i thought it was cute! I heard him sing too at an award show. I hafta say that his singing is not bad!! :happy:

Leo Koo is a singer..
He was one of the best newcomer at mid 90's when he first come out as a singer.

You know, I never really think that he can sing that well, but after listening to his 'Dai Hong' album(Nobita), I absolutely love the album!!!! :love: The whole concept of the Album is so unique, and his singing is really good. He managed to deliver all the songs so well, with so much feelings in it.
I have not bought his Greatest Collection Album yet, but you want to hear some of his songs, I will recommend 'Dai Hong Album' songs like *Love and Honesty(Track2), *Nobita(Track1), *I am Cat(Track9) and *Piu Lao Gao Sat... (Track8)

I do think that Leo Koo really deserve something from HK's Award Ceremony last year, (cos he really became famous in year 2004 with the one hit-single Love and Honesty), despite that he had been in the entertainment circle for almost 10 years.. That's a great achievement.

I am not too sure about Leo's Concert in HK... but I heard that the responds of the public is good.

Leo Ku's "nobita" album was one of the only good pop albums to release in HK last year. You can hear that it has much higher quality than the typical, commericalized HK pop album =)

I like him :happy: but it seems like he's just got really big even though he's been around for years and years. I am kinda glad that he finally became 'big' .. he's like one of the new generation of the '4 kings'. One of the first song I heard from him was called Roman Holiday (direct translation).. and that was like years ago. But I've also heard his recent songs and they are pretty good :happy: I really like it. And not to mention, his looks^^; Yeah, he definitely has a babyface coz he looks nothing like 33!

About his concert, I heard it did pretty well too!

Yeah, i think it'll be. But right now, i think his chinese is really good for a hong kong person! I mean, i don't hear the weird hong kong accent in his chinese! His pronounciation is rather perfect! :happy:

I like his songs. I think he is only famous this few years time. He was consider as one of HK "SeiTaiTianWong"- Heavenly King? I like his songs called "TaiHung". I think the album is mainly about Doraemon. Ohya, not fogetting the song which was wrote by DavidTao (i forgot the title).

the song david wrote for him was "wu kong" or "ng hong" (goku, that monkey king guy). Leo's not officially a "sky king"... that was a label that Alan Tam gave to people on his own.

NObita is sitll a crazy good album though. i like "mei sut, mei sut" a lot. garfield song is awesome too haha

My sister really likes him, and owns most of his albums. Anyone own the 2003 album? Called um.. 'Yau Hei_Gei' (in canto) I really like track#7 called Forward Ur Luv (actual name) Such a sad song with a lovely tune.
I quite like Leo, he's a really good cartoonist, good voice & still looks young. ^^

Wow, I LOVE Leo Ku! His recent CDs are truly some of the best Hong Kong music I've heard in a while...he raises the standards of HK music. And the thing is, you can never get tired of his older songs, either. I was obsessed with his Mandarin duet with Gigi Leung a loooong time ago.

leo ku has been in the hong kong entertainment busy for a while. i believe he started as a entertainment reporter. i never thought he could sing until i heard his pipes in the song 'enjoy yourself tonight'. then i checked out his album (its green) with him flying a wooden airplane. it was a really good album since i surprisingly like pretty much every single song in it. i haven't listened to his latest but i agree his voice is good. it is quite strong. and definitely he looks like he never ages.
as for his concert, i believe he cried every night because it got emotional. it got so bad that the there was a newspaper gossip sound off that maybe he was too much of a crybaby.

Errrr..... the first Leo Ku song I heard was in the '90s. The title is called, "Xiao, Shuo, Xiang" in english, it means, laugh,speak,think?? Anyone heard of it before? It's a classic! Anyway, I think that was from his first album, or something. And that song was so fantastic that I remembered playing the song over and over again. I think I was still listening to cassette tapes at that time. God. I feel so old talking about that. But he was quite a big deal back then though he kinda disappeared after that. I think it was after Zhong Jian or is it Xi Huan album or somewhere after. Think coz he changed management company or something. Anyway, I'm surprised that most of you knows him from HZGG3. I thought his career revived after the Qing Shen Shen Yu Meng Meng show? The show he acted with Vicki Zhao? There was this song in the show called, "Hao Xiang Hao Xiang" that I thought was particularly nice when he sings it. I think Vicki Zhao also sang this song but somehow, Leo Ku's version sounded more ernest and oh-my-prince-charming-who-would-die-for-me effect was there. I fell in love with him all over again in that show coz he looks so darn good. His pigtail hairstyle just don't sit well with me. I've always thought that he looks better with fringe covering his forhead. Or at least with fringe.

But yeah, there is just something about his voice that makes it unique and nice. And I realised that his songs have got all the sweetest lyrics and just makes you go all gooey inside. Think, Zhong Jian, Xi Huan, Hao Xiang Hao Xiang, Xiao Shuo Xiang, Shi Hao (oh man! how can you resist it when that guy goes, "Wo De Shi Hao Jiu Shi Kan Ni Sha Jiao, Ni Xiang Yao De Wo Dou Jing Liang Zhuo De Dao" in english, it means, "My hobby is to watch you whine and whatever you want, I'll try my best to do it" Tell me if that's not the sweetest thing you've heard! Oh oh, there's another sentence in this song that I like. It goes, "Ni Shuo Gong Shi Zui Jing Bu Jing Qi, Wo Shuo Ni Shi Ye Wo Yang Ni" > You say your company is not doing well recently and I tell you if you get terminated, I'll support you) And the thing is, you actually believed that he is singing the song just for you when you listen to it. Or is it just my overactive imagination?

i havent been hearin about him for a longgg time and was surprised to see how HUGE he is now in hongkong when i went there recently. my impression of him stopped at the stage of "xiao zhi" (little finger), "xi huan", "loh bin tan"(roadside stall) etc. i guess he's more focused on his canto market nowadays rather than chinese, hence i dont hear much about him here in singapore (non-canto market).

Oh hi everyone....just noticed this leo ku thread. He's really popular here in Hong Kong and his songs are top in charts. I like his songs too and actually many of his old songs are really good. I also went to his concert a month ago? It was AWESOME. He sounded WAY BETTER than he was in the cd (though his cd versions were very nice too) I took lots of pictures of him! Maybe I'll post it up later. =]

Oh and does anyone want his "ging gor gum kuk" album or one of his old album? I can upload it if anyone wants it.

cool181 - think i 1st noticed him in a hong kong drama serial - very very very old one... dunno whether it's called xiao4 kan 4 feng1 yun2 with ekin cheng n nnadia chan that one. he was so young n cute then. then i started listening to his cantonese songs n buying his albums (think the canto albunm was xiao4 shuo1 xiang3). thought that his voice was quite nice. den he released a few mandarin albums n i bought them too. but after the last mandarin album i bought, neever heard of his news until when he acted in the taiwanese drama period serials which i didn't watch.. yap den now heard lots of news that he's so so popular in hong kong etc etc..

Leo KU & Miriam Yeung Malaysia concert: 25th Feb 2006
<Ku Mou Fei Yeung>, a concert proudly presented by Hotlink, organised by Galaxy productions, took place last night at Bukti Jalil Putra Stadium. It started around 9pm and lasted till 12.15am. When Miriam confirmed that they would not be fined for extending their stay in stadium, she flattered Malaysian fans by saying,” HK is more conservative (leung), we have to compensate (bou sui), why not I migrate here and sing to you all?” On another occasion, Leo joked,” Since our wedding is so happy tonight, why not we come and wed every year?”, followed by a “Touchwood” (dai kat lai si) by Miriam.

Leo, who had his hair colours changed several times, showed off his dancing skills on the night. He also cracked joke using the concert theme “Ku Mou Fei Yeung” (directly translated: Ku dances, Yeung flies), “ Now that I’ve danced, it’s turn for Miriam to perform flying!” When both singers introduced Justin on stage, Miriam misheard Justin’s “Apa Khabar, Kuala Lumpur” as “Kowloon Bar”, creating a turmoil of laughters.

The “King of HK Newcomer” Justin took the role as guest artiste for the night. Upon stepping on the stage, he was pestered by the two other singers to demonstrate some dancesteps that he’ll show during his upcoming HK concert. After singing “Good Guy”, he requested all audience to sing “Tough Life” with him while waving neon sticks, which was indeed a sight to behold.

During finale, Justin was asked on stage to sing “Love and Honesty” together with Leo and Miriam. Being the first time singing together on stage, and also due to the fact that it was a full-stadium-karaoke, the 3 singers were overwhelmed and thanked Malaysian audience to have made the night an unforgettable one.

In order to send their gratitutes to fans who attended their wedding banquet, Leo and Miriam took turns to board the “Magical Hand”, which ascended to the “hill top”. In addition, the “new couple” held hands as a substitute for “serving wine”, and were surrounded by fans when they went down the stage.

Leo and Miriam were initially arranged to sing 2 songs each for encore session. However, due to the incessant requests from the audience, they added an extra song each. Miriam was teased by fans to sing “Mo Lai”, which she refuted,” Don’t be so Mo Lai la! Mo Lai is to be sung by Mo Lai.” But she appeased the fans eventually. While Leo was listening to fans’ request for songs, someone shouted, “ You are very handsome!” He replied,” This is not a song name! Please say a proper song name.”

Leo and Justin were hyped up towards the end of the concert. While they were standing on the automatic ascending machine preparing to return backstage, they treated the machine as a trampoline and jumped on it repeatedly, showing their mischievous side.

Wow, Leo racing to the top. I actually would like him to win because he really is a good artist. I am quite shock to see Joey with only 0.8...............only 0.8? :? I thought she was the new queen of pop?

Anyway, Leo is a great artist who can sing, act, write and compose well. He is a genuine guy who gives help and support to people. His concert was brilliant and made a lot of effort to give a good performnace to the audience. I was quite sad that he didn't get 'best male artist' at the JSG Awards. Hacken Lee didn't deserve it that much but anyhow, there is always next year.

Year 1991: Having graduated from TVB Performance Training Class, Leo became a popular singer-cum-actor shortly after.
Year 1999: Leo was nominated as the spokesperson for international organization World Vision. According to normal contractual statements, Leo would have finished his mission as long as he attended certain promotional events. However, Leo went further and embarked on a visit trip to Mongolia, which led him to realize the significance and responsibility of his role.
On the 18th of March 1999, Leo, the Star of Famine then, and some World Vision workers flew to the capital of the Republic of Mongolia – Ulaanbaatar, for an inspection of local condition. On that afternoon itself, he tagged along local rescue workers to look out for street kids. They arrived at an unknown street, and the temperature was -40 degree Celsius after a round of heavy snow. Leo, who was brought up in the relatively warmer HK, had to put on a few layers of winter clothing, but these did not shield him from the cold. The local workers pointed at the lid of a canal and said,” The street kids stay there.” So Leo crawled in.
Although it was warmer in the canal, pungent stench was everywhere. Upon shining the torchlight, a scene similar to hell was brought forward to everyone’s eyes. In a canal filled with excretion, filthy water, and trash, more than ten kids were coiling together. They draped on skimpy shirts, while exposing parts of their bone-like bodies. Their faces and hands were very dirty, and the rescue team could only figure roughly that the kids were of age seven or eight. A few dirty rats scurried across, the kids coiled together like frightened animals, their eyes full of fear. A relatively older child tried to hide the bread morsel he had in his hand.
Leo was shocked, never had he thought before that there was such horrible scene, and such pitiful children on earth. He could not speak a word. The workers explained to him that since Mongolia has an annual winter which lasts six to seven months, the street kids had no where to hide from the cold but the water-heating canal.
The workers briefed the kids on their purpose of coming, and urged them to stay in the rescue centre. As they were inadequately dressed, the children might be frozen to death once they step out of the canal. Therefore the workers had to wrap the children up in their own jackets one by one. Although the children had overpowering stench on them, no one was complaining; everyone on the spot had tears of sympathy welled up in his eyes. The last one to leave the canal was a 7-8 years old girl; she nudged Leo repeatedly, speaking Mongolian which Leo could not understand. The translator explained that the girl was trying to say,” My brother is sick, he is still inside.” Immediately the workers jumped into the canal, and found a small boy hiding at a dark corner, motionless. He had no response at all, and his forehead was iron hot. “Brother is dying! Brother is dying!” The helpless girl cried out loud. At that instant, Leo could feel his heart almost breaking. He carried the girl in his arms tightly, and although he knew the girl would not understand what he said, he still consoled her,” There won’t be any problem. Trust us, we can definitely help him. Trust us!”
The rescue team carried the boy into the ambulance and sent him to the hospital. Throughout the journey Leo carried the girl in his hands. Her body could not stop shaking; her small hands could not regain heat. Up till this day, Leo still remembers that chilly feeling. Upon entering the building, the small girl knelt on the floor. Leo was told by the worker that the girl was trying to tell them that the boy was her only kin, begging them to save him. Leo carried her almost weightless body, and just could not hold back his tears.
The scene of children’s lives similar to hell, and the bitter winter, were etched in Leo’s mind. Right after returning to HK from Mongolia, Leo put aside all his work, and started submitting his applications for child sponsorships.
From year 1999 until today, Leo has been travelling across Mongolia, Africa etc, and sponsored 11 children from poverty stricken regions.( As of year 2006, Leo is sponsoring 13 children .) Leo is not married yet, but this bunch of kids brought him the responsibility as a father. “Father, when are you coming to see me?” This is the most frequently raised question from the children. However, an artist’s schedule is forever packed, leaving him only 3-4 hours to sleep. All he could do was to send money as a sign of concern, and also write letters to them, saying,” Father's very busy. I’ll definitely visit you all when I have time.”
In year 2001, after the filming of QSSYMM, Leo finally had three days’ leave. “Let’s go to Mongolia! I have two kids there!” Upon alighting from the plane, he first went to the rescue centre and was told that all kids he saw on his previous trip were staying in the centre. Having known his arrival, the kids surrounded him. “Is she the girl?” Leo asked excitedly. The young lady has grown taller; her cheeks rosy and pretty; there was no more sorrow and pain in her eyes. She smiled and told Leo that she was leading a happy life; the uncles and aunties in the rescue centre not only took care of their daily lives but also taught them to read. She was already in Grade 2 then.
Leo was impatient to know more about his own children and followed the workers to locate them. He first found Ankena( roughly translated ), a girl he sponsored three years back. Ankena was diagnosed with bronchitis since young, with Leo’s sponsor fee she managed to obtain very good medical treatment, and was already attending kindergarten. “Who are you looking for?” a young girl with chubby rubicund face asked. Leo called out Ankena’s name and his name, in Mongolian language which he just learnt. The girl pranced on him and shouted,” Father!” That cry aroused all gentleness within Leo. “My precious daughter!” and tears could not stop flowing again.
Although they could not understand each other, this did not deter the girl from talking non stop to Leo. She said she knew that she has a "Celebrity Father’’, and often boasted about this among her friends. She rested herself against Leo’s body, and there were no silent moments; she was either playing with her hair or rubbing her eyes. Leo was delighted as this kind of ‘mischief’ can only be displayed by kids living in happiness.
Leo excused himself to look for his son Kasa, but Ankena just did not want to let him go. After few rounds of consoling, she finally relented. The car left faraway, but the young girl was still standing amidst the chilly wind, waving her hand vigorously.
Leo’s older son Kasa was 9 years old then, and he has grown to Leo’s shoulder height. He was an introvert and did not express his feelings in a naked way. That was an ordinary drawing book, but to a poor family, buying this drawing book simply meant that Kasa might have skipped few days’ meal. At the point of departure, Kasa insisted to sing a farewell song to his father. His hoarse but strong voice resonated in Leo’s heart. Halfway though the song, Kasa cried. That was the first time he broke into tears after meeting up with his father. Just as everyone thought he would not continue singing, he cried while running away and shouted,” Father, don’t forget me. I must go to China and look for you when I grow up.” Only then they knew that he could not bear seeing his father leaving him.
The children’s tears shook Leo’s emotions, and he decided on his way back that he must visit them every one or two years. What they need was not only financial help, but also concern and love from someone close. The drawing book is still accompanying Leo, which he takes out and touches every now and then, just like touching his own children. Leo just released his first comic book, which he planned to give Kasa personally and tell him,” Father managed to complete this comic book under your encouragement. Thank you!”
After the filming of HZGG 3, Leo made a visit to Mongolia again, this time bringing along a crew to film down the dire situation. When the documentary was shown on tv, there was strong response from all around the world, many people rang up World Vision to find out more about the regions and started signing up as child sponsors. In fact, there are quite a lot of child sponsors among Leo’s fans.
Emotionally stricken aside, Leo started participating in larger scale rescue movements. Earlier this year he liaised with Orbis, an organization which travels round the world to provide free visual treatment to any patients.
Xiao Yu was born with cataract, and could only forcefully identify objects by their blur outlines. However, he recognized Leo at their first meeting, and said excitedly," You are the big brother who always urge people to help children on television.” Before anaesthetizing, he asked Leo in fear," Will the operation be painful?” Leo held his hand and replied," Be brave. I’ll accompany you throughout.” Leo was the first person Xiao Yu saw after waking up. Being his first time seeing sunshine, fresh flowers, and his parents’ smiling faces, Xiao Yu broke into tears of joy. “He held the crayons I bought for him, and drew in excitement. He even drew different colours on my face, but I didn’t stop him, as I knew that was his way of sending his gratitude to me. What he gave me in return is what he deems to be most beautiful – colours.”
A Taiwanese girl – Kuo Weiqi, had her hands and legs amputated due to medical reasons. However, because of financial constraints, she could not undergo operation to have artificial limbs fitted. Upon knowing her predicament, Leo volunteered to bear her medical fee, and also her long term living expenses. Besides, he made a point to visit her whenever he is in Taiwan. In July last year, Leo was in Taiwan for his mandarin album promotion but had no time to visit Weiqi. Her mother brought the girl to the promotion venue instead. Weiqi bought a toy dolphin for Leo with all her savings -- the toy cries out “I Love You” when pressed on its stomach.
Leo expressed," My story with the children continues. I’m sponsoring them indefinitely, and I'll use my love to accompany their growing up process. However, my individual effort is limited, and there are still plenty children out there who need help. I hope I could depend on the media to urge the public and also other celebrities to involve in meaningful charity events. Something which seems insignificant to us might be able to help a child to achieve his/her dream, or even save his/her life. Love has no country boundary; please go to the place on earth which requires you. Let us create miracles with our love."

Joey Yung and Leo Ku have branded their collaboration as ‘Juicy Lemon’. Earlier, the two worked on a photo shoot for their upcoming mini concert and made fun of their outfits, calling themselves ‘yellow green doctors’. Unfortunately, Joey could not look after her own health as she fainted yesterday, causing alarm.

Despite having their companies rumoured to be not getting along well, as head singers of their company, Leo and Joey have broken the tension. The two wore green and yellow suits while they competed in posing throughout the photo shoot.

Leo and Paco attended an art exhibition, of which main theme is Buddhism, last night. They were given an artpiece each as a token of appreciation. Leo, who received 觀音送寶 (loosely translated: Kuanyin presenting treasure), was asked what he deems to be his treasure. He replied," My dream is to have my own art exhibition. I used to draw portraits and landscape paintings, and was even a runner-up in a competition."

He further revealed that he drew a portrait each for his ex-girlfriends, and said," This is a sure tactic! (Like the nude drawing in Titanic?) If only the movie had already been shown then! Haha! I have drawn 4 or 5 in total, hopefully they could contribute my artpieces if I happen to hold an art exhibition in future."

That said, Leo still has not accumulated enough artpieces to be exhibited. " It depends on when Paco plans to organise one for me. He helped me plan a concert after listening to my songs, so he should plan an exhibition after seeing my skills in drawing!" Leo joked.

Besides, Leo's latest album is due to release today. In an interview earlier on, he was full of confidence with the album, and said," This is my first album of which first two promoted songs are not romance-oriented songs. I hope to be able to inspire others, romance is not the only issue which can strike a sympathetic chord with people. (Are you attempting new things?) Yes! I'm thinking of releasing a kids' songs album in the next year, I have my child Kubi to face the challenge together."

While earlier rehearsing for a musical, Leo Ku injured his lower back and was forced to perform in a wheel chair. Yesterday, through a phone interview, Leo disclosed that his lower back has not fully healed but he is no longer in a wheel chair. He also revealed that despite being able to work, he cannot bend his back. As the bone in his lower back had moved position, Leo will have to undergo physical therapy.

On the 18th of this month, Leo will be holding a concert with Joey Yung. When asked if his injured back will affect the quality of his performance, Leo expressed that if his back has not healed by then, its bad luck. He was then questioned if he will be dancing in the concert, Leo disclosed that final decisions have not been made but believes that the concert will concentrate on their singing abilities. The singer then revealed that the ticket sales for the concert have done extremely well. Those who were not able to purchase tickets have been seen bidding for tickets online, some even willing to pay over $1000. Regarding this, Leo stated that fans should not waste so much money and should be careful of being cheated.

Recently, a tabloid has reported that Leo had copied other t-shirts when designing his own Kubi t-shirt. Leo expressed that he has not read the reports but regarding the accusations of copying the colour of another brand’s t-shirt, but those who have read the Kubi comics should know that he has always used the orange colour.

The clip I watched was of him at a function for Rejoice (shampoo brand). I think he became the art director for their new ad campaign. The clip said that when Leo was young, he used his artistic talent to draw for the girls he liked. In the interview, they asked how many girls have received his artwork.. and he was like "Three.. Four.. Five..?" :D There was a model present at the function too, and he said he only looked at her once, but he thought he was the sexy type.. :rolleyes: Then the interview jokingly said that he didn't look because he wanted to avoid rumours or bad reputated articles in magazines about him looking at her etc. :D

Tickets to Leo Ku's Macau Concert Selling Well + Rapidly

Leo Ku yesterday attended a press conference in Macau for his upcoming concert which will be held on the 25th of this month. A ice sculpture of the word ‘exploding’ (爆) was present and Leo smashed the sculpture into pieces. The organisers hoped to generate the meaning of the show being a sell-out concert and a big hit. Leo Ku bags Hong Kong music awards

Crooner Leo Ku clinched the biggest prize of the Hong Kong music awards season, helped by the popularity of Loved Too Late, a song that encourages people to express their appreciation for loved ones.

Ku was awarded the Four Electronic Media Syndicated Award on Saturday at Hong Kong's fourth and final music awards ceremony of the season, the Top Ten Chinese Gold Songs Award organized by government-owned radio RTHK. The prize goes to the most decorated singer of the awards season.

Ku urged more harmony among pop stars in an industry whose record sales have been hurt by the spread of digital music.

"Come the awards season there's always talk of singer A and singer B being bitter enemies or singer C and singer D battling it out. I'd like to say there shouldn't be any bitter enemies in the Hong Kong music industry. We're all comrades,'' he said.

Joey Yung was another big winner at Saturday's Chinese Gold Songs awards ceremony, named best female singer and best-selling female singer in Hong Kong and most popular in mainland China.

Veteran actor-singer Andy Lau was China's most popular male singer. In Hong Kong, Hacken Lee was the best-selling male pop star and Eason Chan was named the best male singer.

Ku's Loved Too Late won the Global Chinese Gold Song Award, which was decided by Internet voting and reviews from Chinese radio stations around the world.

The most popular song in China was Thousand Miles Away, a duet by Jay Chou and fellow Taiwanese singer Fei Yu-ching.

The Golden Needle lifetime achievement award went to Adam Cheng, who wore a cowboy hat and a leather trench coat while performing sexy choreography with female dancers dressed in gold bikinis and shorts with a leopard skin pattern.

Cheng and guest performer veteran Taiwanese singer Tsai Chin urged fellow singers to value quality over quantity. The Chinese pop music industry is known for its prolific output.

Wow, I'm really proud of Leo for that thing about being friendly to each other in the industry.. although I highly doubt that all tension can be avoided between singers competing against each other, maybe they'll realize their actions & maybe lower the tension level a bit, if not much. :D It's healthier that way.

Leo Ku Injures Eye @ Windows Vista Event

Leo Ku yesterday attended a Windows Vista promotion event but his left eye was unfortunately injured by a flying paper bomb that was released at the event. The eye caused so much pain that Leo was left holding his hand over it, the paper bomb had caused a small blood vessel to pop. But the singer endured the pain for the whole function and only left to see a doctor when the function had ended. When leaving the doctors, Leo told reporters that his retina had been mildly scratched, his eye cornea was swelling and that his intraocular pressure was too high. The doctor had given him treatment and told Leo to come back in two days time for a check-up.

Leo disclosed that when the paper bomb hit his eye, it felt like someone had punched his eyeball and that he also felt dizzy. His vision was also blurred. At first, he was worried that the injury might affect his vision but thankfully, after seeking for help at the hospital, the doctor told him that his eye was safe. When asked if he will be demanding for compensation from the event’s organiser, Leo expressed that he finds not point in doing so because accidents can not be foretold.

After taking a few days off for the CNY, Leo Ku yesterday returned to work. The singer attended a CNY celebration at Times Square where he added the finishing touch to awake the lion and wished everyone well with the God of Wealth. Leo disclosed that during his break, he has been playing mahjong, thus winning quite a lot of money. Leo Ku Might Star in Mainland Thriller Movie

At a radio interview yesterday, Leo talked about his upcoming new movie - Super Fans. He then mentioned that apart from releasing records this year, Paco would like him to work on some movies as well. There are a few scripts under consideration right now, but the main selection criterion is the proposed time of the movies due to Leo's concert in September.

As for now, although not fully confirmed, Leo is most likely going to take up a Mainland movie in April. This movie is set to be a thriller, in which Leo's role will be a police. He has played a police role before in one of his older movies "Task Force".

When asked if he would agree to making horror movies, Leo replied," I don't really dare to, as it might result in me being suspicious of ghosts thereafter. After watching horror movies previously, I always went home being very suspicious and fearful. The scariest one was The Ring, which I watched in Taiwan. When I went back to the hotel, I couldn't help but thought of the plot upon seeing the reflection on the hotel room tv. Luckily I haven't seen any ghost before."

That said, Leo loves listening to ghost stories - he described himself as 「 又 要 驚 、 又 要 聽 」 (feels scared, yet still wishes to listen). When asked which horror movie was least scary, Leo replied," It has to be 開心鬼放暑假 (THe Happy Ghost II), I felt happy and entertained instead of scared after watching." Also, 'The Others' is a horror movie which left a deep impression in him, as there was tension throughout and ended with a surprise. If there was a similar type of horror movie, Leo would be interested to play a part in it.

Leo Ku Steals Harry Potter's Girl, Katie Leung

Leo Ku, who has flown all the way to England to film a new MV, met ‘Harry Potter’ 19 year old girl, Katie Leung. The two walked down the streets of Notting Hill while holding hands. The most important thing was that Katie did not seem to mind Leo’s famous sweaty hands.

Leo has self directed the MV for his latest song ‘Love Return Home’ (愛回家). This time, he invited Katie Leung, actress in the world wide hit movie ‘Harry Potter’ to be his lover in the MV, so evidently ‘stealing’ Harry’s girl. The MV tells of the two becoming lovers after meeting each other on a bus. But when it was time for the holding hands scene, Leo was afraid to take hold of Katie’s hand because of his own sweaty hands. This did not worry Katie in the slightest and so, she willingly grabbed hold of Leo’s hands because she believed that this is what true lovers are like.

The singer could not stop praising Katie. After meeting for the first time, the two immediately started shooting for 10 hours straight without even stopping to eat. As ‘Harry Potter’ is filmed in built indoors settings, this is Katie’s first outside scene, so Katie was not quite use to the surroundings at first. But her worries were soon gone when Leo began telling jokes to cheer her up.

Leo has invited Katie to attend his September concerts in Hong Kong. He also announced that two more shows will be added to his concerts making the concert 6 shows in total. He commented, “There are limited dates that are free at the Hong Kong Coliseum, so only two shows could be added.”
