the name loosely translates to "blackie girls" or "gangster girls" ( same pronounciation in chinese, but different words).

anyway, they are so irritating it drives me mad. their voices are squeaky (i believe they MADE it that way themselves).

tvbs ent news is now hosted by them. they take turns every day as there are too many. i use to watch ent news almost everyday, but now, i rather not hurt my ears, and eyes. they cant host, let alone interview celebs that go on the shows. it seems like they are little fan girls who squeal when they see some shuai guy or something. HELLO TVBS, are you listening? you just lost a viewer, (and thousands more).

about a month ago, one of the "mei meis" (as they are so "affectionately" known,) wrote on her blog that she met Dong bang shin ki's Jaejoong (korean star fyi) when they were in taiwan. she even said that jaejoong gave her signed pictures and invited her to korea.
#1 There is no proof AT ALL. there are no pictures, and being a dbsk fan myself, i know that dbsk is very very very busy and tired. they would rather sleep then go out.
#2 She said she communicated through mickey through english. HELLO AGAIN, does she know english? and mickey's english is not that great either.
#3 when cassiopeia found out, and started leaving comments on her blog, she closed her entry and disabled comments. if thats not guilt, then what?

all in all, i dont know why they even bother. they try so hard to act cute, but it comes out all wrong that its so pathetic.

Oh wow, I SO hate them too!

These girls are so annoying, especially when they all say "WOOOW" in their stupid squeaky voices. There is one in particular who talks in the squeakiest squeaky voice i have ever heard and it is weird because it sounds as if it's her normal speaking voice, like i don't know, maybe she's so used to it that it just comes naturally?

you know, it's irritating how they get all these opportunities: starring in music videos (some kenji guy mv) and having their own music videos. ugh, stupid stupid girls.

there was this show where jesse mcartney guested and i felt really sorry for him because he seemed so confused, most probably by the crazy chattering of the girls.

there was another one where they were supposed to sing and david tao would give an evaluation of their singing and this girl, i don't know her name, but she won and when she got her stila giveaway she twirled around and her skirt flew up, flashing david tao!

oh, but i did like one episode though when they had to play this charades game and they all get electrocuted when they answer incorrectly haha they got so many things wrong, lucky for them

I have no idea why there's this group either.

I first saw them after watching "Wo Ai He She Hui" where Kangta and Vanness were guests. I was shocked to see many teenage girls, dressed all in the same pink outfits with short skirts and wow-ing at them. Their voices are very irrritating! Especially when they all speak together, I could only shake my head :sweat:

I really wonder why would a record company want to invest and let them cut an album? Also TVBS is quite dumb to allow them to host Entertainment news. I didn't know they are doing it for a long term basis because I do not have cable. I saw them hosting the programme on Youtube because I was searching for Fahrenheit stuff and I thought they were just hosting it temporary :dry:

When I first saw them on Entertainment News, I thought it was only temporary. After a few weeks of watching it, I noticed that they always wear the same clothes. I guess they can't afford to have more since there's 9 of them.

I don't really hate them, just that they are a little annoying sometimes. A few of them are quite good in hosting, but they get really noisy at times and they always stop the guests from talking. They go on and on with their stories. :dry:

I started watching Ent News the other day (after having not watched it for months) and saw all these giggling girls. I was like WTF?!!???!!

I thought they were guests or something because there were so many of them. Then one of the girls in a silly costume started speaking in a very high pitched voice (also twirling whilst speaking mind you) saying "du jia" and that's when I knew they were the hosts.

lol I didn't know TVBS would go that low. I don't understand a word the girls say because it's always filled with giggles and I'm forced to read the subtitles to know what they're saying >.<

Oh wow. So those were the Blackie Girls huh. :shifty: I've only heard about them a few months ago when Channel V Southeast Asia prominently aired one of their music videos. I wondered who they were, why they were named such, and how popular they are for Channel V to feature them and add their video on their playlist along with songs from foreign artists. I haven't heard from then since then...until I saw this thread.

My first impression of them was really bad. They're so cutesy and so fake. I HATE girls who try so hard to act cute and portray wholesome images when in reality, they were at the end of the queue when God distributed chastity.

This is how I met TVXQ:
On that day, I went to help out my friend to reorganize her shop which was located at the Alexranda Building as her shop needs re-opening afterwards!
My friend and I then went to the 1F toilet where we met TVXQ and their dancers.
One dancer asked us, Is there a place nearby where you can dance and drink at the same time?
I replied that there are not many pubs being operating since it is Thursday
So the dancer asked us whether can we bring them to some of the other pubs?

I answered that it is possible and I told them that my friends will bring them to the pub.
Afterthat, my friends bring them to a pub which was opened by one of my friend.
After cleaning up the shop with my friends, I went to the pub opened by my friend to meet my another friend who was having birthday on that day

Before they started "singing" careers, I didn't dislike Hei Se Hui Mei Mei THAT much. They were annoying, yes, but to avoid getting annoyed I'd just stay away from the show. But wow, when they started releasing singles, it was just so mind-boggling that a bunch of people with no singing talent could so easily make music. I just think it's a waste, and is unfair to the more talented people in Taiwan struggling so much to try and get a recording contract.

Hmm I have to say I used to not like the Hei Se Hui Mei Mei (I know the rules here, if you like the artist dont come in). I wouldn't say they are without talent though, I reckon a few girls there can dance better than Jolin. But I still dont like Apple, she kinda still annoys me in Hei tang. Nor do I like Tao Zi, she annoys me a lot.

But, about the talented artists thing, the two shows are just programs. The boys and girls aren't guaranteed to be famous, be a superstar or anything. You can go on and then show your talent, then you get kicked out if the judges think you haven't got enough ability to stay. Yes, some of the BBT boys cant do anything, I dont know why they are there. But that doesnt mean its not a good program.

I've heard that they'd "NG" a lot of times and most of the girls in the drama is a bit too exaggerated, esp xiao jie (the girl). Sure it's funny and only for the young viewers, but if they actually acted a bit more real and added more spice to it... -.-, just watch one episode or two and you'll understand that their acting skills is pretty bad.

I watched Black Sugar Macchiato because I like Lollipop and a few of the HSHMM's (Yatou!) , but yeah I agree, I hate it when they overreacted. I mean, some of the parts were totally unnecessary. And I didn't exactly like some of the pairings either.

And I HATED xiao xun's hairstyle in BSM. Her acting wasn't so great in BSM either. she should go back to acting the sweet girl-next-door (18jinbujin) instead of acting all cool and stuff.

tao tais work when every few months (2 or 3), 3 judges are on the "panel". and then each meimei (excluding the 9 and the ones that have won first place 3 times in tao tai sais) has to give a performance. the judges (usually andy-ge (the person who made bbt,hshmm and is on the high levels of channel v or something) jun li jie (bbt's current manager i think) and a person that knows hshmm and frequently goes (like the dance choreographer lanbo laoshi or xiao chun lao shi)) judge the meimei's on their performance since the last tao tai sai till now (like have you been talking much on the show and showing your talents etc as well as judging their performance)

then there's first, second and third places and then after thats awarded, blackie calls out a few girls that didn't do well in the tao tai sai and during her duration in the TV show. either 1 or 2 mei mei's are then eliminated.... tao tai sai's are usually a cry feast. :worry:

Their focus is just being pretty, and I have absolutely have NO IDEA HOW THEY CAN HAVE FANS. Sure, they are pretty, but it's course they wear a lot of makeup. Alot of them are fat asses, like GUIGUI (I HATE HER), Xiaoxun, Meimei, Xiaojie.. Only Yatou's very slim, but that's another story.
