1.
Don’t post crap.
If you don’t have anything worth saying, don’t say it. Don't post off topic comments.
Constant one liners (example: "haha that’s funny"
OR "that's so cool"
OR "yeah thx alot") will cause you to be
banned.
At times, you may find it is better to PM short comments to the people you want to respond to.
We will delete any POINTLESS or STUPID one liners we come across.
Also please use the
THANK YOU button instead of posting just to say "thanks"
2.
Make your topic titles descriptive, NO "suspense" titles allowed.
Don't post "I have a question" but rather "What are the translated lyrics to An Jing" or "Need help!"
but rather "What are the release dates of Jay's album"
...in other words,
be very specific with your topic titles!
Suspense titles for example are: "Picture of Jay with...." or "Why is it that..."
We do not tolerate suspense titles here, please put exactly what it is you're posting in the title.
We will edit the title if you do not follow this rule.
3.
Post in the appropriate forum.
Read the little descriptions under the forum titles to see what
fits under that forum.
4.
Do NOT spam the forums or solicit JCNET members via PM
We don't just mean ads, we mean posting the same message multiple times.
Posting the same messages, advertisements, etc. in the same forum or cross posting
across multiple forums will cause immediate ban. One post is enough.
Covertly PM'ing JCNET members to either visit your site, buy your products, etc. in an unsolicited manner is also prohibited.
5.
Give credit to whomever it belongs
When you post news/media clips/pictures/translations/etc,
tell us where/who you got it from if it doesn't belong to you.
Any "news" you post in the News forum with no source will be deleted.
Post these in the Discussion forums because they are more like rumors.
6.
Use the SEARCH function, or just look around before posting!
Before you create a new topic, look around to see if it has already been discussed.
Most common questions/discussions are already posted.
7.
Don't post a topic to a specific person
When you want to ask or discuss something with a particular person,
PM (Private Message) them instead.
Don't post it in the forums.
8.
Follow the banner rules
If you use a banner image in your signature, make sure your banner fits the guidelines.
It will be removed if it doesn't.
9.
Type in readable ENGLISH!
DO NOT tyPe LyKe DiS. Do not use
random font colors for no reason.
And do not use SMS style shorthand here.
This is an
international English forum, not everyone may understand the
slang, shorthand, and other language nuances of your country.
10.
REFRAIN FROM using loads of Singlish, Manglish, or any other special dialects
As you can see, we can't stress this enough.
This is an INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH forum, type in readable English.
We don't expect you to use perfect English, just don't make your posts
difficult to read and full of slang.
11.
Chinese & other foreign characters not allowed without translation
DO NOT post in Chinese without an accompanying translation,
NEVER EVER post topic titles in Chinese!!! Again this is an English forum.
Most people here cannot read Chinese. Besides if they could, why would they be here?
All the big Jay forums are in Chinese.
*TIP*
It is better to Private message someone your questions about the site instead of openly posting them. You don’t want everyone, especially the moderators, to see any mistakes from you.
