Synopsis

What if you could never forget that one person? The person you shared that spring with? In order to escape debts, Jaeha and his father runaway to the family’s home town, a small island isolated from the rest of the world. While Jaeha’s father goes on a short trip, he leaves his son under a friend’s care. Scared his father would not come back, Jaeha begins collecting money to buy his own boat ticket. However, his plans change after befriending Eunyoung, the father’s friend’s daughter. Eunyoung was born with a sickness and spent most of her childhood at home. She constantly prays to make a friend, and she finds this friendship in Jaeha. However, after a tragic accident, the two are split…only to meet again after 15 years.

Yah! I'm so glad someone started this thread.... I've kind of been waiting, being lazy so that someone else can start it, props to ya!

Anyway, I'm on episode 10 right now and it's absolutely wonderful! I was having Goong withdrawl symptoms so my sister suggested that I attach myself to another drama....haha, that I did The concept and chemistry is good. Also it doesn't hurt that Suh Do Young is hott! hehehe. It can't replace Goong, but I really do enjoy Spring Waltz. Episode 2: who saw the train scene coming? lol. The sweater was so cute!!

Wondering if more people will join in the discussion. This drama seems pretty popular....but perhaps studies have been taking over some lives -I know it should take mine, but I'm a procrastinator and summer has practically started for me -

Also, the music is so cute! I <3 Cannonball by Damien Rice.

Well... I've been watching it off youtube *schizoar...*
but she hasn't been uploading it... so I'm assuming she's busy w/ schoolwork...
everyone's probably cramming for finals right now
well... except for me I guess
I've already taken my ap test
and I have two blow offs basically... so no sweat... can cram later...

the sweater was quite amusing... I can't believe he actually put it on.

was when *spoiler*
they were supposed to announce the engagement for Jaeha and Yi na but then like in the preview for the next episode at the end of the episode Jaeha went up there and announced that he would be engaged to Eun young or something like that
kind of leads me to wonder what happens after that... well there has to be more obstacles for the couple so... what will the parents do...
and this drama can't compare w/ goong really but I think it's good so far
if you've gotten the classic OST the piano songs are awesome...
of course I'm prejudiced being a pianist (not very good)... but that's besides the point
Do you know where I can find summer scent?
I can find all the other seasonal dramas on youtube... but I can't find summer scent anywhere... and for some reason I doubt it's on soompi...
well then summer scent was not quite as popular as Autumn or Winter
and even Stairway to Heaven isn't on youtube anymore so...

Lol... Daniel is confusing in this drama...
b/c he's not fluent in Korean... and he has an american/german background or something
he goes back and forth between 3 languages...

Jaeha's mother kinda annoys me too *not the actress, the character
The actress is the same one who played the Jang Geum's foster mother
in Dae Jang Geum... i/e Jewel in the Palace... first female doctor of korea whatever

and a lot of people like the young Jaeha...
I'm not really certain... though he seems talented in some of the scenes.

yeah about the 3 languages, sometimes you wonder if the person he's talking to is understanding what he says. yet it all seems to work well.

i luv how they beautifully capture the scenery in the province and even some scenes in the city, and of course, the scenes in Austria. just that sometimes the background colors clash with colors of the artists' outfits -- too much color going on.

those moments between Jae Ha and the girl are so sweet. actually the 2 guys are both equally charming...

I guess they would have translations in the script lol
so the actors/actresses understand (1) what they're saying
(2) what the other actors/actresses are saying
.... cuz I doubt that 서도영 (Suh Do Young/ Seo Do Yeong) is fluent in german... or maybe he is... and I just am under-informed...

on a side note... there's been a new album released...
by um... what's his name... Lee Ji Soo or something
and it's themes of spring waltz or something....

This drama seem really good at the beginning, but then it drags later on. I think 20 episodes is way to long. The good thing that i love is the OST. My favorite is "one love" by loveholic.

i've just finished this drama and i love it...
at first i watched this mainly because of Daniel..but after a while i fell in love with Jae Ha...
i like the ending...it's very romantic...although i don't understand whyJae Ha needs to go to Austria...or why he don't want Eun Young to know he's wounded..
the soundtrack is good..esp the one love and clementine...i love it...

I've watched it and love it! it has nice sceneries and a great soundtrack! been listening to it even now! highly recommendable! hehe... the storyline is nice! at first i thought it would be a sad ending but who knows it's kind of sad too! haha...
